What a weekend for fantastic sporting ambassadors and we couldnโ€™t be prouder! Megan Morris, who is a key member of our mixed school football team, captained Wrexham schoolgirls to a national final in Cardiff.Megan scored the winner in the semi final against Pembrokeshire before seeing her team narrowly lose 1-0 in the final against the much larger Swansea schools team.Megan always plays with energy and determination and to captain your team to a runners up spot in a national competition is a fantastic achievement, we are so proud that you did it whilst representing our school.Da iawn Megan, let's hope we are cheering you on in a Welsh shirt in the future โšฝ.A huge DIOLCH to the pupils and parents who gave up their Sunday morning to help give out medals and water to the runners in the Wrexham 10k. Year 6 had a great day yesterday with Melissa and Greg from TechwumanThere were lots of fun hands-on STEM challenges requiring strong group work, and creative and technical skills. It was an inspiring taste of the world of STEM careers and there was a great buzz in the classroom as our STEM professional of the future got to work!
