A wide range of activities have taken place in Dosbarth Llyn Tegid during the first half of this term.
We enjoyed a visit from Dr Nightingale to talk about Humanism as part of our RVE curriculum.

Humanism links RVE and science, and we took part in lots of hands-on science investigations as part of our learning on Microorganisms. Pupils have really enjoyed using the microscopes that the Royal Microscope Society have kindly loaned us and linked science to history by looking at Victorian scientist John Snow and his work on Cholera.

Two pupils from Llyn Cau joined two pupils from Llyn Tegid to attend the Science Transition event at The Maelor. They will act as ambassadors for the Year 5 & 6 ‘Secret Agent’ programme taking place in school over the next few weeks.Β

Llyn Tegid pupils also had lots of fun singing along and dancing to Welsh music for our annual celebration of Dydd Miwsig Cymru, and even used our maths skills alongside the entertainment!

Our After School Chess Club which has been running for several weeks now, includes several pupils from Dosbarth Llyn Tegid who pit their wits against each other as they develop strategies and hone their chess-master skills.

Llyn Tegid representatives are also among the Eco Council members who are currently campaigning about the dog fouling around our school perimeter.
