Our Year 6 pupils had an amazing week at Condover in May, trying new activities, gaining confidence, working as a team and finding their independence as they prepare for new challenges in high school, while enjoying some wonderful summer weather. Miss Williams, Mrs Burton and the Condover Staff were incredibly proud of our polite, kind, respectful children, saying “They have given their absolute all, tackling every activity with resilience, determination, and a positive attitude, and their behaviour throughout has been exemplary.” Well done Year 6!

While Year 6 were enjoying Condover, Year 5 were enjoying learning experiences closer to home. Based on the story The Barnabus Project, Year 5 pupils created their own characters and planned a healthy village.

June began with some rather mixed weather conditions, but these were ideal for pupils to develop their bike handling skills, initially in the safety of the school playground, and later on the streets of Overton. Another step in gaining self-confidence and knowing how to stay safe while developing their independence.

On July 1st our class took part in a Celebration service in church. We spoke about Joy and several of our classmates showcased their musical talents, playing drums, violin and piano.
