This term we have begun our work on ‘Light’ by investigating shadows.

We have used our own shadows and noticed that the shadow moved and that the length of the shadow changed.

We will use this learning when we make sundials, and will use these to mark the shadows at different times of the day as well as measuring the length of the shadows that are made.

Our class took part in the Celebration Services at Church on July 1st where we looked at various Christian values; love, joy, peace, thankfulness etc and showcased our musical talents. Several Llyn Ogwen pupils took part in both the services, playing drums, violin and guitar.
