At St Mary’s, our Christian values and Church school ethos are at the heart of everything we do. They form the foundation of our happy, caring, and thriving school community.
To help uphold and celebrate these values, we have an active Christian Ethos Council. Council members are elected by their classmates after preparing and presenting speeches, demonstrating their commitment to living out our Christian ethos. They proudly wear their badges so that everyone in school knows who they are and what they do.
The Christian Ethos Council plays an important role in school life. Members help to plan and evaluate collective worship, support our Church links, and work hard to promote our Christian values throughout the school. Their dedication helps ensure that St Mary’s continues to be a place where faith, kindness, and learning flourish together.
