News from Royal British Legion Overton-on-dee Royal British Legion hope you like the Respect and Esteem we believe our fallen deserve with our displays we have presented @St Marys church. Please if you have the time can you go in and donate. All gifts are so appreciated. We have now included into our post the wonderful display of posters the children @ St Mary’s school have worked so hard on. You can see the Gallery looks amazing. The Overton branch committee asked the teachers at the school if they could encourage the students to create a poster of what they believe and understand Remembrance Day relates to. As you can see they certainly do, and the RBL worries that future generations will begin to forget our brave soldiers and the sacrifices they gave, but thanks to the teachers and parents, these children will carry forward and Never Forget.
